Career

Enlightened at Lincoln and Magdalen colleges in Oxford, Karnad was Visiting Professor & Fulbright Scholar in Residence at a University of Chicago (1987-88). His plays were staged inside India & overseas to wide acclamation, & Karnad himself began working in the field of theater.

Movies
His directorial debut come by owning a film Vamsha Vrksha, according to the Kannada novel by S L Bhairappa. A moving-picture show went in to win many national & international awards. Karnad besides acted in the experimental flick Samskara, according to the Jnanpith award winning novel by U R Ananthamurthy.

Late, Karnad directed many motion-picture show within Kannada and Hindi. He has received many awards for his pic, including:

Plays
